Abstract

The path analysis model here obtained showed that the achievement of 120 children during the Spanish course at a second grade elementary school was significantly explained both through the parents' evaluation of their children's command of reading and writing abilities and the teacher's report about the parents' knowledge regarding the teacher's activities related to Spanish courses for children. On the other hand, the assessment of children's reading and writing achievements was significantly explained only through the parents' evaluation of children's reading and writing abilities.
